CONFIG & SETUP

P.A. System

We provide 3 kinds of Public Address System: Traditional Analog PA system, semi-digital PA system and Full-Digital IPPA (Internet Protocol) system.

Traditional Analog PA Systems are becoming obsolete

The Traditional Analog PA system is an traditional approach. Each zone must be independently wired to the control panel in order to get the broadcast signal from the selected button. Multiple cables are not only difficult to manage, but also difficult for maintenance. What if a wiring problem occurred, the entire cable will need to be replaced to ensure integrity of the cable. Moreover, each cable can only transmit broadcast signal to a single area, so whenever a new broadcast area needs to be added, a cabling process must be done for the new zone. Since the zones and groups of Analog systems are distinguished by hardware, changing the setup will involve complicated processes, which is difficult for users to handle it by themselves, meaning that inconvenience for management .

Semi-digital PA System for easy management

The Semi-digital PA system uses analog hardware as transmission device and computer software as control device. The advantages of this combined PA system is easy to use and manage, which is reliable and durable. The analog hardware is connected with the dedicated seven-core cable of BXB Electronics Co., Ltd, which runs through the upper and lower floors. It is then connected hand-in-hand to the broadcast area on each floor through a dedicated decoder, and can be branched at any location where the seven-core cable passes. Connect the new partition. The computer software is connected with a network cable. In addition to the host being installed in the system cabinet, remote control software can also be installed in any location with an intranet to serve as a remote broadcast point.

The broadcast software can not only select the required broadcast area in real time, but also could preset customized broadcast groups to cope with various usage scenarios. There are up to 70 preset groups, and the group content can be adjusted at any time to facilitate user management. The default group is also applicable to school bell schedules to deal with arrangements other than daily classroom bells, such as school bell schedules for exams, tests, opening ceremonies, graduation ceremonies and other individual activities; there are up to 8 preset schedules , and can be changed at any time. Broadcast areas, groups, and schedules are all displayed in the user interface, and with user-friendly elements such as names, button sizes, and sorting can all be customized.

Digital IPPA System for multimedia broadcasting

The Digital IPPA system uses only digital network to transmit and control the entire public address system, and can play and/or stream different videos and/or audio in different zones and/or groups simultaneously. For modern teaching methods that are utilizing educational technology and multimedia, IPPA system can absolutely enhance teaching capabilities and enriched students’ school life. The control software of IPPA system covers all functions of Public Addressing system, plus adjusting volume of  individual zones and set playback area of individual audio and video respectively. With RS-232, it can also turns on/off the partition’s projection equipment/electronic whiteboard and other audio and video systems, and schedule Playback specific video/audio.

F.A.Q.

Generally speaking, the scale of primary and secondary schools and the way they use broadcasting system are very suitable for using semi-digital Addressing system; especially for schools that still using Analog system, choosing an Addressing system can greatly improve management efficiency and user experience. Relatively small-scale kindergartens, elderly centers, etc. can consider using Analog system. On the contrary, larger or complex venues should consider using IP system.

Since the Digital IP system only needs network cables to connect with the entire system, for venues that already had a complete intranet, it can indeed exempt the cost of cabling process and using Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN)  to establish an IP broadcast system instead; however, using VLAN to establish a system may result in a lot of daily work for network maintenance. If not handled properly, it will affect operation of the broadcast system, which users need to weigh.

In terms of the overall cost of an installation project including software/hardware setup: IP system » Addressing system » Full analog system. As for general primary and secondary school buildings that plan to replacing their broadcasting system, converting from an Analog system to an Addressing system would be the most cost-effective.

Yes, both the Addressing system and the IP system support up to 10 Client (remote control software) online at the same time, which can be set up in any location equipped with intranet as a remote broadcasting point. While Analog system can only set additional microphone in specific location for speaking but not remotely control the broadcast area on/off.

Yes, both the Addressing system and the IP system support up to 700 zones and 70 groups. Users can customize broadcast groups and setup group buttons in the user interface for instant use at any time. Default groups can also be applied to broadcast schedules for broadcasting school bells, pre-recorded messages with any MP3 format files in designated areas. The broadcast group of an Analog system is based on the hardware configuration and cannot be changed at will.
